Antonia Woodgate is an illustrator and artist. Antonia’s pictures celebrate colour and pattern, using a range of media including collage, watercolour, gouache and pen and ink drawing. Inspiration comes from anywhere and everywhere, from retro textiles and Matisse’s paper cut-outs through to food packaging and book design, especially cookbooks. Antonia often applies her love of food and cooking to her illustration work.

Antonia trained in Fine Art, specialising in Printmaking at West Surrey College of Art and Design (now the University of the Creative Arts). After several years working in the media, Antonia started making visual holiday diaries, rediscovering her love of creating handmade art and decided to explore further the illustrative potential of her work.
